I got sick of my cap getting too hot.

I've worn a baseball cap for decades. On hot days, the heat built up under my cap, and the sweat ran into my eyes.

The mesh caps I tried didn't help much.

Then I saw the problem. Mesh or not, my caps kept a stiff wall in front, made to carry a logo. A logo does nothing for a hot head.

So we built ours on the cap I already knew how to wear, and curved the front down instead, with 15 cutouts a side from the brim to the back.

Now the heat has a way out.

Each side has 15 cutouts over the AirLeaf mesh, so the heat has a way out. It's made of light performance polyester and weighs 60 g.
Punched holes are just holes. They let air in, and that is all they do. On most running caps, the mesh sits on the sides or at the back, and the front stays solid. Our vents run down both sides, front to back, 15 cutouts a side with mesh behind every one. That mesh takes up water, dries and cools off better, because the air goes straight through it.
Yes. It comes out of a soak fine. Hold it under the tap, put it on, and the vents dry as you move.
Less. In sticky air nothing dries fast. The heat still has a way out through the vents.
One size, with an adjustable strap: 55 to 60 cm around, about 21.7 to 23.6 inches. To check, wrap a tape measure around your head just above your ears. If you land in that range, the strap adjusts to you. Over 60 cm, it will be too small. The metal slide buckle holds the setting, and the strap tail tucks inside the band.
As close as we can get them. Lighting, camera settings and your screen all change how a colour shows up, so the cap may look a little different in person. If the colour is not what you expected, send it back within 30 days of delivery, used or not.

Some light gets through the side vents. That's the price of the airflow. The centre panel on top stays solid where the sun is most direct, and the brim is one solid piece over your eyes. With hair, your hair covers the rest. Bald or thin on top? Wear sunscreen up there, or this cap's trade may not be for you. Better to know before you buy.
Hand wash in cold water with a little mild soap, then air dry.
