Heat rises and vents out

Your head heats up top first, so that's where the venting sits. Large cutouts open the shell, and the leaf-shaped vent layer underneath lets the heat rise and escape instead of building up.

How it breathes

Heat gathers at the top of your head first. That's where the venting sits. The vents run in two layers from brim to crown: large cutouts through the outer shell, with the leaf-shaped vent layer underneath, letting heat rise and clear. The brim does the quieter work. A raised side edge forms a channel that sends overflow sweat off to the side, instead of down into your eyes.
